Our garbage was not picked up / myLot

Our street is private but it's still the department of sanitation that picks up our garbage. I have no idea what happened but the garbage on our street was never picked up this Thursday like it was supposed to. I thought maybe they didn't come to collect the garbage at all but it seems that the street next to us had its garbage taken away. The garbage can is standing outside and because it's been raining it's probably full of water. I remember it happened once before. And very recently only our garbage was not picked up but everyone else's was. Good thing it's not summer or very hot and that it doesn't really smell or that would have been a major problem. Next collection day is Monday. They better pick it up then.

You could have called the garbage collecters' HQ and ask for an explanation.

I know how you feel since the city not picking up the garbage on their scheduled day will cause you headaches.

I don't get why the garbage wasn't picked up. It wasn't a national holiday. No snow storm. No reason to not pick it up.

I know there are times that happened here, but if I recall correctly, everyone left their bins out and they came the next day. Can't remember if it was a holiday or what. But we happen to have 2 bins in case one does not get emptied.

If it is a national holiday or maybe a snow storm they won't come but otherwise they should always come.
