Another workweek ended!

Santiago, Chile
November 14, 2020 1:44pm CST
Saturday at last. Guys, I work 6 days a week so you can imagine that Saturdays are like Friday to me, why? Because it's the end of a workweek for me. However, not all is happiness, my next shift is Night Shift which starts off tomorrow at 9 PM, ugh, so it doesn't feel like resting, just so you know I am not complaining, I'm just saying. I am grateful that I got a job, but to me a day off is like a complete day off. I'll get over it eventually. How was your Saturday? Did you do anything special today? Regards!

When I was young we worked 6 days a week in Italy, but I agree that a longer weekend is so much better.

@jvicentevalera I also did not like to work 6 days a week, very fee free time left for ourselves.

@LadyDuck That's right Anna. One day I'll find a job that suits me, in the meantime I'll work here.

Absolutely. I guess one day I'll find a job that requires me to work from Monday through Friday only. I don't like working 6 days a week to be honest, but it is what it is, its work and I had no other choice.

Unfortunately, yes. Sunday is my day off, but I start night shift, but it starts today (Sunday) at 9 PM so it doesn't feel like a day off if I have to attend work on the same day in the evening.

If you start back up again so soon then do you have... Never mind I was thinking you said you work four days not six. Do you work eight hour shifts or forty hour weeks or more?

I didn't do anything special Saturday. Saturday was ok. Sunday I went to grocery store and I got some gingerbread cookies, some holiday hot chocolate and some holiday pretzels. The pretzels are good. I have tried the hot chocolate yet, or the cookies yet.

Saturday was chilly but today we are experiencing a wind warning and I know why. We just had a gust of wind hit the window that sent me down stairs to where everyone else is. Minutes later... peaceful as can be. I heard thunder too. Weird weather today.

The night shift must be awful, but at least they alternate you to the day shift. Enjoy every minute you have off.
