Same here. The first snow covering the world around us. A joy for the young ones, but a horror for he oldies! I dread falling and breaking a bone which happens easily when your bones are old. I'm in the happy position that neighbours go shopping for me.

Snow doesn't look good only in films. It looks good also in reality. But there are many accidents and many people die in winter because of slippery roads. It can happen that the roads are good to drive on and suddenly there is a stretch which is covered with snow and which has ice underneath. If a car begins to spin, the driver can only prey that no car is coming from the opposite direction until they have the steering wheel under control again.
