Not going back in there

I'm glad I started early today. It's pretty hot in the kitchen right now. At least I managed to prepare lunch. Just simple fried chicken with batter and veggie soup using the prawn stock I made yesterday. Right now I am resting in the coldest part of the house. Not going to step into any other areas unless necessary for the time being.

@prinzcy I agree. Whenever I am in hot places, I need to take a bath two or three times a day.

During the summer I try not to cook anything except at night. That way the kitchen has cooled down enough by morning that I don't feel like I'm stepping into an oven if I go back in there. Was your lunch delicious?

It was. The prawn stock make the veggie soup even better. It's true. It's like stepping into an oven now. I'll have to wait longer. It's only 3pm now.

@prinzcy It takes so long for the kitchen to cool back down in the daytime. And I hate running the air conditioner to cool it back down. It wastes too much electricity. Very nice!

Your meal sounds fantastic! Yeah, extreme heat is no fun. It just brings up my allergies. I'd be sneezing the whole day being exposed to extreme heat.

Which one is the coldest part ? ... it cold in my place ... so i am wearing hoddie ... we have a room which i consider be the coldest and in this time of the month i avoid this room as much as i can

We have a second floor. The ground floor below it is colder than the rest part of the house.
