Good day friends I was not too active here, because I had a lot of obligations. I will try now to clear all previous notifications, there are only 30 left and to read a little of your discussion. I believe I missed a lot. Tonight my son went to a friend's birthday party. I'm not happy about that, because they do it in a weekend house, because gathering is still forbidden here because of the virus, but young people don't respect that. It is not even close, it is some 40 km away. He left 2 hours ago and still hasn't reported that he has arrived. It always drives me crazy not to call first just so I don't have to worry. Is there a ban on gatherings in your place?

I'm sorry he hasn't called yet. I hope he does soon. I think we're still limited with gatherings but we can gather.

Yes, he called me and everything is fine. Now I have to think that everything will be fine there and that the police will not find them, because the fines are great.

@ScribbledAdNauseum They are located outside the city, by the river, and that worries me even more, but I hope that everything will be fine. Many will spend the night there, but he will return home.

We are not suppose to be gathering here, but people break the rules. Why? They really don't care.

@Nevena83 People around here are arrogant, another person's safety isn't important to them!

Yes, and here mostly people behave like that. It happens more and more that I forget about the presence of the virus, because people are mostly relaxed.

@Nevena83 They increased from 80 Euro to 200 because too many young people had parties.

Oh, those are big punishments, but here, too, is a big punishment for me. The fine here is around 40 euros.

@LadyDuck So far, I have heard that they are mostly punished the most in the capital, probably because there is the largest concentration of people there.

You should call him to see if he arrived safely. I’d worry, too, being a mother. I hope he stays safe. Did you have a nice birthday?

@DianneN Yes, I didn't expect it to be nice. I didn't see them for a long time, because I withdrew from the company, but now I wanted to start again and try to enjoy the little things.

He answered by saying that he could hardly find that place and that the journey took longer, because he drove a few kilometers slowly, because there was no asphalt. Yes, it was a beautiful birthday. Two friends came to me and I really felt good that day.

I hope he contacted you and had a good time at the party. Probably on large gatherings. I'm not certain.

Yes, everything was fine. He came home around 2am. He says there were about 50 of them at the birthday party and he wasn’t thrilled. I don't know why, probably because his girlfriend wasn't with him.

@just4him Yes, he is young, but he is behaving very maturely in that relationship. He rarely sees his company, because he always wants to be with her.

@thelme55 Yes, this situation made me think, do we become more mature or more obedient with age? Sometimes I think young people are smarter than us.

Yes, everything was fine. Everything here is closed after 9pm, but young people always find a way to celebrate their birthdays.

I would not like that either. At least he answered the phone when you called. He could pick up Covid and bring it home...not cool. We can not have more than 10 people in a gathering..but it isn't like they are going around looking for people who are violators..if you wanted to you could...I hope most don't.

I texted him, and he soon replied, I try not to call him because I don’t know at what point he’s driving. Here, most people act as if the virus does not exist.

There is a ban of gathering in my country. We're still in MCO after all. But some people just heed the warning and do things their way. That's how they're fined.

Yes, we've already heard from each other. He arrived safely, but the ride took longer, because he could hardly find a place. I'm not one of those annoying moms who call their kids, but I like to get in touch with at least a message when it gets somewhere and later at least one more message to know that everything is ok.

In the area around the capital there is a ban on large gatherings. As you say, young people don't always respect the rules. I hope he is okay.

Did you hear about yesterday's event that they found about 700 people in one bar in Belgrade?
