Mom bought huge clams from the day market. I don't know how to cook them to be honest. But she said she's cooking them. Even proceed cleaning and boiling Really now? When she made her mind, better let her do it. I just hope she doesn't leave the stove unattended though. Wonder what she wants to do with them. Image : I couldn't get the picture of the clams. Mom already work on them. Wow, she's on high spirits on this So I borrowed this image from Shopee.

I love clams! My mom used to brine them in water with a lot of salt - she said they would spit out extra sand. And she threw out any clams that did not open. She cooked them in a salty broth along with other items . . . soooo good. I think they cook fast . . . if you cook them too long they will be too rubbery. But it's been years since I've had it that way. Enjoy your clams!

I also do that. And yes, they'll spit lots of sand out.

Me too. I'm more concerned for the stove. Sometimes she just forget about it.

I have not eaten clams for ages. How did your mother cook them?

I have no idea. She peel the flesh and store them in the fridge. She said she's cooking them for lunch.
