Spring is just around the corner. I can tell without ever looking at the calendar. With spring coming, the humidity starts. When the humidity starts, the sweating comes along with it for me. It is hot in the house already just from humidity from the outside alone. I stay hot anyway other than I get a little break in the winter months. Is the humidity starting in your area?

No humidity here yet thank goodness. One thing I cannot stand is sweating in the comfort of my own home.

Me too and over the years as I have aged, I stay hot it seems. I have to have it cool in the house. I cannot even do chores in the house without sweating during the summer months especially.

@stephcjh If I had it my way it would stay about 68 degrees in my apartment but my boyfriend likes it more around 73 degrees.

No, but it's been warm the last couple of days (highs around 70 F). Where are you located?

@TheHorse Oh wow, really? you lived in Bloomington? Small world. The Dan Dakich name doesn't ring a bell. Bobby Knight and Indiana University definitely does though. I graduated with Pat Graham that used to play for IU basketball though in the late 80's or early 90's. I graduated in 1989.

I am located in southern Indiana. Starting to get warmer and warmer here. I have never been to California before.

@stephcjh Ah, I lived in Bloomington for a couple of years. Have you heard of Dan Dakich? He was on a softball team with me. He was assistant coach to Bobby Knight (for Indiana University) at the time. It was back in the late 1980s.

No, not quite. We have the temps for it, but we don't have the humid weather, yet.

@stephcjh Florida got spared harsh winter weather. It's been mild at best. We're expecting a high of 73 today. While we do have clouds coming in, That's still considered mild and it'll be quite comfortable when I do go out in a little bit.

Amen to that. I royally hate it too. I am tired of staying indoors all summer other than yard work. It is just too humid to sit out or grill out anymore.
