What's a song you like to put on repeat?

I am the type of listener who will put a song on repeat until I get tired of it. Eventually I'll hear the song again and go through the same motions. One of my favorite songs of the moment is Scattershot by Caitlin Canty. I'll link the song down below for those curious. The song is about a storm rolling in (makes me think of a tornado), but her voice (tone) gives the song a double meaning in my opinion. The video has the lyrics for those who want to follow / read those. I love the way "Rattling chains" rolls off her tongue. What song do you have on repeat at the mometn?

There are many songs that I like, I remember that I repeated all the time "Satisfaction" by the Rolling Stones when I was young... I am going to play it.

I heard that song a lot when I was growing up. One of the bands my father loved to play.

@LindaOHio I can't remember which song I listened to at that time, but I can remember that my cousin got married a few months prior so she wouldn't die single. They're still together.

I could put almost any classic rock song on repeat and enjoy it. I never tire of The Beatles, Jackson Browne and Gordon Lightfoot.

I've never heard of Jackson Brown, but Gordon Lightfoot sounds familiar, and everyone knows The Beatles.

I get tired of every song after awhile, but it usually takes me a long time before I want to listen to something else. I also rarely like different versions of the same song, what about you?

I do that with just about any song by Bon Jovi. One I like to listen to a few times in a row which is a bit morbit, but it is one of my favorites is "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" by Gordon Lightfoot.

I read the lyrics. It is morbid, but I can see the appeal of it too. I'm drawn to songs like that because it just has more depth than other songs.

I never really used to do this but just recently I was watching some music videos on youtube and a couple of songs have been repeated quite often. Creep by Radiohead and She Does It Right by Dr. Feelgood (and also the more recent Wilko Johnson solo version).

Creep is one of those songs that have memories for me and not necessarily good ones. I do like the song, but I can't help but remember someone I talked to many years ago whenever I listen to it. There's a song from Dr. Feelgood that I know I've heard a lot in my youth, but I couldn't tell you what the title of it is today.

@WorDazza Wilko Johnson must have been very dexterous, but I imagine it was bad for his hands. There is a song similar to creep that escapes me at the moment, but it's one of those songs that pulled at the heart strings in the same way.

@ScribbledAdNauseum Creep is one of those songs that a lot of people, especially younger men, can identify with. I believe Thom Yorke got very fed up with it after a while. Dr. Feelgood's guitarist Wilko Johnson is one of my guitar heroes. He has a technique that makes it sound like he's playing rhythm guitar and lead guitar at the same time. Very impressive.

I've been playing this fairly often lately. I'll warn you, this version has language in it that the original version didn't, just in case you want to avoid anyone hearing a few f-bombs. It's honestly worth the listen.

@spiderdust Totally different. I like the direction they went in with the second version better. The first one was too conflicting. 80's rocker style .

Enya"s " Wild child." Ever close your eyes Ever stop and listen Ever feel alive And you've nothing missing You don't need a reason Let the day go on and on Let the rain fall down Everywhere around you Give into it now Let the day surround you You don't need a reason Let the rain go on and on........

I'll have to listen to it when I have time. I looked up the lyrics (used Azlyrics.com) and it only showed a blip, surely the song's longer than one refrain though.
