Trying to figured out how we can scrape up the money to visit my parents and my son for his birthday on May 31st. They live 4 hours away. A friend will take us there and back but needs $300 to do it for gas and his time.
$300 is a lot of money to come up with! I am stressed because I am not sure if we will be able to come up with it in time.
Hopefully we will get the stimulus check before then, that will help out a lot.

I really hope you can get the money together to do it. I hate that the friend is charging you so much though. That seems excessive.

Well, he will be driving 4 hours there, 4 hours back... then will pick us up which will be another 4 hours there and back. That is 16 hours of driving total, plus gas. I think it's fair.

May is still a bit of time away for you really hope you can make it over there and that you manage to get the money also for the trip.

Have you tried to take any surveys with survey site? You can make decent money with those. I do surveys every day online among other things but I do quite well. Worth a try.
They keep dragging their feet on the stimulus of course.

I am not good with surveys, I'm always getting disqualified or something. I just tried to join a survey site someone else suggested and they wouldn't even accept my application to join.
