Is homemade food preferred?

This time, my mother made a simple meal that looked luxurious, and it was called Tempeh Orek. Orek itself comes from the Javanese language which means processed. How my mom prepare this food? The preparation is not difficult, you only need crushed shallots and garlic, then cut the tempeh into small pieces. 1) fry the tempeh until it turns yellow then put it in a bowl. 2) If there are peanuts, fry them until they are brown then put in a bowl. 3) Put the crushed shallots and garlic, fry for about 10-15 minutes. 4) Nah, everything in the bowl goes into the frying pan. 5) Do not forget the last thing is to give soy sauce until evenly distributed. This is a homemade food that I love.

Homemade is the best! You can control the ingredients and have it just the way you like it.

@much2say Yes, apart from that, sometimes restaurant food is not as good as homemade food.

@nicer518 We keep on visiting chinese restaurant in our Chinatown here and I love their beef soup. I haven't tasted the peking duck and they say it's delicious and that is my next mission to have when restrictions will be lifted in Manila, our capital city.

@May2k8 I love that peanuts with salt and toasted garlic, others want it spicy sprinkled with dried chili flakes. It can be seen around here in my place because it is one of our streetfoods. A good, healthy snack. They say when you eat peanuts you will become brainy and so I eat alot but didn't work

I prefer homemade foods too, however Im not a good cook. Im more into dress making and my cooking skill is not great. My sister is a good cook, so I trade home dress with her homemade foods. This orek tempeh looks delicious, but I will sneak to eat the peanuts as snack hahaha

@May2k8 let's play exchanging skill game. If you need a dress you can call me, in return you must fix my machine. But we need to find someone who is good at cooking and baking, to trade our skill with her/him. Or else we would be starving ??
