On the News today...

I was looking at the news today and a couple stories caught my eye.
So, this show “The Voice” is some kind of talk show and I guess they are stopping it for a few days while they investigate the reason two of the host got in a heated discussion. I’m not exactly sure what it was about and honestly, I couldn’t careless. My issue is that Sharron Osbourne apologized, why is it these people always apologize? If you are not wrong and from what I heard she was not, why would you apologize to someone?
This whole thing about the royal family. I don’t understand why Americans are so interested in this. I get if you live there but if you don’t what is so interesting about it? Maybe I am missing something. Just from the bits and pieces of the story I have seen and hear, it seems that Markle didn’t know exactly what she was getting into and then didn’t like it for what ever reason. Then they needed to have a conversation with Oprah about it? Why would you feel the need to air all that to the world? You couldn’t just keep it to yourself? Seems like a money grab to me.
The Gammy’s were on last night, didn’t know that till I heard it on the news today. I can’t believe they are still showing that on TV. Does anyone care about that anymore or even watch it? I’m not even sure what it is for, music? Again, just another way for the rich and famous to pat themselves on the back like they are something special.

@Bensen32 Their ratings have been in steep decline for decades. I'm not sure why they continue to air them, except maybe because actors and actresses are so narcissistic that they have to have the award shows to make them feel good about themselves.

Knowing what’s happening with the royal family is like knowing celebrity gossips. Gossips are always interesting to a lot of people.

If The Voice is the show I think it is... It is not a talk show. It is a show where musician and singer "wanna be's" enter a contest to win I think a million dollars, and cut a record deal. The supposed heated feuds between the coaches are just done in fun. The news will report it to give people something to read. But they do this all the time on the episodes to bring a little "fun" drama into the show, and make people laugh.
