Stuff that in!

Dear sweet friend came over with her large black SUV and opened its back end. Fill that cavern! Hubby and his engineering brain set to work figuring how to get the most possible in. We did not get my shelving unit in. We did get all the parts to the daybed in- even the long pieces. In went a little cupboard that we store pans in and yes, my metal doll house! A plastic storage bag that housed my Mom's quilts scooted in and hooray, an old world globe of hubby's and his swords. Guess who else crept in? Plastic tall as a toddler Santa. Ha ha. A little box of pans and some blanket throws. Last but not least a little green wrought iron garden ornament. Friend is coming back tomorrow morning at 8. I have a garbage bag of soft things, like table mats and aprons to scoot into one more corner. I have a feeling that we'll get to the Westside early. That means we'll explore antiques in shops before we head to my house.

Wow, that's pretty nifty. So how much more do you have to cart off before you're ready to move into the new house?

Yeah, I kinda figured that. So about how many more trips will you have to make to get most of it to the new house?

@rebelann Thinking..... Hubby and I might go back this coming July. We'll pack a little, like one smallish chest that did not go this time. Got to save room in the small back seat for two pups, too. Then next year we'll hire a moving van or U Haul or something for the antique furniture biz.

@rebelann Oh my. I am too tired to laugh. This is not even the start of the tip of the iceberg.

@wolfgirl569 Thanks. I sure hope to. I haven't ridden so far in a big vehicle in a long time.

@DianneN Hubby and his engineering brain really worked hard. Probably not going back until around August. That time I will drive and it will be my little car with two pups so not a ton will get moved.

This is why I need to be at myLot every day. I don't know what's going on. I take it you're moving? Sounds like you got a lot of stuff in this load. Moving is so hard! Of course when I moved here we had next to nothing, lol. We were coming from the Camp Fire where everything burned up. This is probably my last move unless I have to go into a nursing home someday -- which I hope is not soon!
