My wife and son are not well.

From last two days they both have a fever. Although the temperature is 99.5°F still they are feeling very weak. I have come to see a doctor for them. Coronavirus is spreading so fast at our place so I am scared. Picture taken from pixabay

Even if their temperature is 37.5 degrees C their shortness of breath could be the one causing their feelings of weakness or their loss of smell and appetite.

They don't have such symptoms at present but when the cases in the city are increasing I am scared.

@sjvg1976 Do not worry. May be a visit to the doctor is necessary. Yet if it is more of normal flu symptoms then it would still take a few days to subside.

What are the other symptoms - if it is fever along with cold, running nose or just weakness, it could be seasonal flu. Else if there is some breathlessness or some heaviness in chest then it could be more worrisome. How is the condition as on today?

99.5 F is not a fever, do they have other symptoms? A higher temperature could be caused by hot weather.

@sjvg1976 In this case I think you can relax, it is just the hot weather coming. 99.5 is 37.5º Celsius, it is not even 1 degree Celsius more than the normal temperature, my temperature is always around 36.8º C, women and kids have a bit higher temperature than men.

Sorry to hear that. Pls mske sure they are taking lots of liquid food, water, sleep and medication. It will take 2 weeks to recover if i am not wrong. Praying for them

No worries,99.5F is not standard temperature level to Coronavirus,perhaps your family just caught a cold.let them rest more and take some medicine,they will recover soon.
