I am de-seeding these fresh Carolina reaper pods so I can save the seeds again for the next batch. I currently have a 1week old germinants to be planted at the end of this month. Just having fun growing lots of chili varieties especially this hottest chili Carolina Reaper.

I really can't understand why anyone should want to grow such exceedingly hot chilis, except, perhaps to breed an even hotter one so that you can beat the world record OR if you are manufacturing pepper spray!
Getting a viable cross between a chili and a tomato or an aubergine (all of which are solanum species, though probably not compatible) would be interesting and introducing the DNA for capsaicin into a lime, for example, would be exciting.
