From last few I have been in touch with her over phone. She was diĆ goned as covid positive around 10 days back. She had high fever and the best thing she does is she isolated herself in her home itself so no one else in her house is infected. She started having breathing problems as the oxygen level was going down , she was hospitalised and was on the oxygen support since last few days. Here in India hospitals are taking cash , no insurance , already she had financial issues and God know how his husband is managing bills now as daily expenses of hospitalisation is high here. Today me and one of my friend are planning to go to his house and meet her husband just to offer him some help from our side. But I am scared should we go to her house or not as she is recently been diagnosed with covid. Please suggest what should be done ?

After ten days, she's no longer contagious. However, it's up to you. You run the risk of getting any number of viruses and daiseses just by breathing every single day. Sometimes you need to decide, what's worth the risk?

Let them be checked again. If the result is negative. Then, you can visit but for now I don`t think it is a good idea visiting there. You can still send your help by online transfers You have a great heart.

If you want to help him with money then you can send him money online. If there is a containment area, Watchman will not allow you to visit. And you are still in touch with each other on the phone. Because you have to take care of yourself and your family before you go out

Thanks . Today she was tested again positive. She is in the hospital from last 18 days and now 14 days are confirmed further. The hospital expenses will come app 10 lakh rupees which cannot be afforded by a middle class person.

Go to the house, but don't go inside. Try to help them from the outside.

I understand your desire to bring support, but please DO NOT GO! Send him money, but keep safe, he could be contaminated.

I think it is better to speak to them over the phone and help them in whatever way you can.

Just put the cash in the envelope and deliver it to her husband but a few meters away from him and with a mask.

You can go. Maintain a safe distance and wear mask. Your idea of helping is good or you can talk with him on phone and do online transfer too

Better not visit them since I suspect his husband might have the virus and just is asymptomatic and just a carrier. I think if you want to help them out you may drop by as quickly as you can and leave immediately. Or if there are couriers that could deliver it then do so.

For now, first reduce visits to his house, just increase the number of long-distance calls, we are very afraid of the spread of this virus, just assure him that when things are safe we ??will visit him in the near future

You should meet her husband outside their home with proper precautionary measures or else take the help of digital payments that could be a better option. Else it depends on you. Take care.
