finally,there IS gonna be something done about all those useless responses and discussions..people will realise what this site is all about and hopefully will stop posting vague or short answers and also discussions,orelse their ratings aswell as the money will decrease...i think us,the active people here who put their soul and attention will finally be rewarded..so thank you mylot...i was thinking to give up but now i am even more interested in staying and try to make my contribution a quality and helpfull one:)

I agree with you in some ways. There have been a lot of foolish questions strickly aimed a getting the points obviously to make the money, with no for thought or effort involved. I think if we all treat it more ask an ask and answer site, it would be better. That way we can learn things from the site, as well as help others when they need help or an oppinion. Thus I think the changes will be for the positive do you agree. Thanks for sharing your oppinion

i think not all member mylot not understand about how to use mylot. some ppl like my downline have problem in language me too, so they have to test and learn with short discussion to increase they languange in english inlcude me after that they will post quality question.

i never had anythig against those with bad english ..maybe you are right on one hand,because of their low understanding of english,they don't understand most of the topics but then i have to agree that they should not be here,if they can't keep up..i know for myself,that if i am overwhelmed by something and i think my presence there has no use i quit..

I think that it takes time for new members to learn what the site is all about and the new changes will help to promote longer answers versus the short reply if someone wants to earn anything for their time.
I think that the diversity on the site is good for all of us and I would think that non-English speakers can still contribute

I have to agree.. all the posts with the one liners.. and the broken english were making me not want to return to this site.. but just in the last couple hours I think it's actually gotten better.. a little quirks like rankings not moving but it's worth it as long as it's caught up

yeah but it would be better also if mylot will do some thing about the server speed since mylot is getting slower it seems and even experience lagging some times. though it is getting good every day as we have read from their alert today. greetings. : )

I was thinking of giving up here too, heartonfire. There were beginning to be so many poor discussions that you'd have to search through a whole bunch of fluff to find something worth responding to. 'Does your name start with an A?' is not a discussion worth replying to. I try to answer posts that are interesting, and hopefully add something worthwhile. It's good to see myLot taking good affirmative, positive actions to make this a community with quality discussions. I was glad to read their alert this morning, made me feel like posting again. (I haven't bothered to do much since Thanksgiving.)

I agree with you. I don't agree with the person that said let Mylot do their job only. We as members also have a right to voice our opinions and concerns over the site. Without the members, the site would not exist, and without quality members, the site will not expand. Well said, and once again I 100% agree.

people like those are just feeling attacked and if he read mylot's guidlness he would see there that mylot asked us,the members,to help him discover the users who violate mylot rules..

I take my hat of to mylot,finally they are doing something about the mindless drivel that has been plastered all over mylot.Maybe now we will see quality discussions and responses that are worth reading.I was really becoming disheartened by the same boring,stupid questions constantly being asked every single day.Perhaps now some of the members that are just looking for a quick buck will realise they won't get it here and either leave or take the time to leave a decent responce.I'm really looking forward to seeing these changes take affect!.

tell me about it,i am thrilled..absolutely..i think they will give up eventually when they will see their ratings and earnings will continue to decrease..i am not wishing them bad luck i just want them to realise that they are wrong and that they should try a bit harder

oww yesss the stupid discussions...i dont know if those will dissapear also..i am not sure about that because all the titles are short,it's the comment above them that can be longer and then how will mylot tell the difference between a stupid question and a clever one if they all have a short title?hmm,..

this rule is the best mylot has come up wid so far, i've seen many users wid really whack responses and all they care obu is gettin more ratings to their name, well i guess ratings wont earn u much wid this rule, many users used to post just a "yes" or "no", wid their responses, and they actually got paid, not wid the new rule they wont, its good dat true and honest users will get wht they deserve, so i guess ratings are no longer the priority, some1 wid low ratings will probably earn more dan some1 wid high ratings, good goin mylot!!!

hey you're right..i just got into mylot and im loving it here!..im having my exams right now..once the exams are over,im gonna get into some serious discuissions and debates!..whether im getting paid or not!

mylot pays,and now it pays even more..if you post nice quality responses,for example at least 3-4 lines an answer,not just a word or too,my earnigs increase rapidly now ..thanks to their new algorithm..i love it:)

Have you noticed a difference in RATING the responses? I try to rate all the responses atleast on the page of my post... I think if you have better ratings... it is considered a better post... and If Im not mistaken you earn more for a better post. SO RATE lol...mine with a + lol just kidding
