Addiction can be reverse

June 15, 2021 12:41pm CST
I want to discuss this topic because there are so many people around us they are facing with addiction problem, addiction can be positive or negative. Positive means doing regular exercise, meditation etc. Negative means playing games , drugs addiction, drinking alcohol, porn addiction, gambling addiction etc. Positive addiction have positive effects but they take time to make habit to addiction but negative addiction has many bad effects but they generally adapt faster. I read about 21 days addiction formulae. If we have addiction we can avoid it for 21 days then we will not be addicted for that thing. If we adapt anything for 21 days it makes routine then habit then addiction. So , I knew this method of solution for negative addiction. You have some other solutions, and ideas ??? Thanks for reading

Each person is different. And, addiction doesn't really "go away" it's always there. You just learn how to deal with the triggers and cravings better. In some cases, people learn how to lie real well. I should know, my husband is both a smoker and drinker.

Well, the main symptom of a real addiction is 'withdrawal if you don't feed it'---where your body thinks you NEED it, so you get SICK if you go without. If you go-without and you DON'T get sick, you weren't really addicted. If you ARE really addicted, then the best way to quit is probably to replace the addictive substance with something else, to fool your body into thinking you're still getting the substance.

Break the addiction slowly because going so fast will have withdrawals. Find a way which works for you. Then substitute it with a different habit. Mindset is everything.

I sincerely think that the solution to addictions must come from within. No matter how many courses, systems, methods, tips or anything you try to quit addiction, whether it comes from outside, from other people, it will not give results, if you are not the one who assumes that you have a problem and you must solve it. I know of people who in an instant decide to quit an addiction and they just do it.
