How come gmail.com works more quickly than any other mails? which software they

I am sure that they used some special kinds of software to build this gmail.com. Its great but what concerns me is, what software systems or language they used to build the gmail pages which load its pages at fast speed!! Thank you... Please reply.

Gmail is fast, and it sends data faster too. a 10mb file took me 1 minute through gmail, while teh ame file took 4 minutes with yahoo.

I didn't realize that gmail was that fast. I have tried gmail and the files don't go through that fast. Maybe it has to do with our internet connection. I like yahoo very much as well and all the animations.

I do not feel that gmail is all that quick. I love the email service though as it is pretty reliable and I like the features of it. Whatever system they are using, seems to be working pretty fine to me.

I think GMail just have the right resource at their disposal that's why they have what we think faster email. but other than that, well, i really do not know. :D

Good question... I love Gmail... I hate yahoo. I just switched to gmail afer yahoo deleted two of my accounts for no reason at all.
