It's Fri YAY so I hope everyone is happy that the weekend is only hours away.
We have day number three of beautiful weather. Another morning when I was able to enjoy my coffee outside. I'm lovin it 
Nothing much planned for the weekend.
Tomorrow will be a pickup at Sams Club so we'll be stocking the fridge and pantry. My daughter also has points expiring on her Starbucks card so she said she wants to stop there and use them before she loses them. Both Sams and Starbucks are across the highway from each other so it won't be a big deal to do both.
We also got a new umbrella for the deck so now we'll have shade. It's a pretty blue. The other choices were more neutral but I wanted something cheerful so went with the blue.
I'm lucky enough to have both a back deck and a front porch so I have my choice where I want to sit outside. The back deck is more private but without an umbrella it's hot since the sun shines on it all day long. The front porch is covered and shady but it's not as private.
Today is just a typical day. Nothing much going on.

I like having a choice too for sitting outside. I like the porch but it can get to be a bit much when you have to wave and say hello to everyone who walks by. I don't really mind being sociable but sometimes I just want to be alone.

Today our son and daughter-in-law both finish work and begin vacation.
Typically alot of people take vacation to include Canada Day, which is on the first, in their week off.
My vacation is over until my second week I took off in September.

We'll be celebrating a long holiday weekend next week with 4th of July.
Lots of people take this time for vacation. Hope your son and daughter in law enjoy their time off from work.

I'm thinking of a retractable awning but I can't swing it this year. Some of my neighbors have them and I love it.

@Marilynda1225 funny, when we had an umbrella on the table on the porch, we used it weekly. with the awning, we use it four or five times in the summer.

Nothing really going on no. I will probably go down to the lake this weekend. Next weekend we will be heading towards the 4th so will probably do something...going out of town on the 3rd as well. Can you find everything you need at Sams? Their sizes are so big, and they don't seem to have everything. You always talk about going there. Do you shop at any other places for groceries?

I do the bulk of my meat and produce at Sam's. The packages are big but we divide it all up into smaller portions and then it lasts for a few weeks. Yes we do the rest of our shopping at the local supermarket for all the weekly stuff. Usually I leave that up to my daughter and she picks up whatever we need.

Getting ready to mow our yard. Already have a roast cooked for dinner. Will make mashed potato's and sautéed yellow squash to go with it. Weekend plans, just church on Sunday. Vacation plans, nothing. Don't want to go to far from home because of Mike's mom. Never know when she will call and need us for something. Blue is my favorite color, great choice

Our lawn and bushes were done this week so everything is nicely done. A roast for dinner sounds delicious especially with the mashed potatoes and squash. Actually I'm having zucchini with my dinner tonight
I certainly understand you're not going far if Mikes mom needs something.
