I have seen in the online cookery videos on Facebook that it's possible to prepare delicious bread at home of course you first need the bread maker and with the help of recipe you can prepare the bread and the end result is soft and Fluffy bread which is better both taste and lookwise of what we get from the stores. I don't have bread maker so never tried. Do you Prepare your bread at home? Or are you planning to get bread maker and start preparing soon?

No I don't prepare bread at home, but my mother did that for many years. No, she didn't use a breadmaker.

I took baking courses, I could if I wanted to. What's a bread maker? What I realized is that it's cheaper to buy bread at the baker's than making your own. It isn't much about the raw ingredients you need, but the power needed for the oven. I think you really end up saving if you buy it, plus you support local businesses if you buy at the baker's.

@Butterfingers Bought bread is not necessarily less healthy, if it's bought fresh, baked the same day you buy it. Guess it depends on where you buy it, that's why I mentioned the local baker.

@Butterfingers It is a lot better than what you get from the store. We eat it hot out of the oven with butter on it.

You don't need a breadmaker to make bread! You only need flour, yeast, salt and water, some patience and 5 minutes of stress-relieving arm work ... and a hot oven, of course. That's the way it's been done for thousands of years and there's no reason for not doing it that way still. I often make my own bread and, although I have used a breadmaking machine, it's actually just as easy and more satisfying to make it the old way. There are plenty of recipes and instructional videos online.

I really dream to bake bread at home by following the procedures seen in videos but it's pandemic, no one wants to buy the ingredients at home. All are afraid to step foot now that the covid case in our city tripled despite the ongoing locked down
