It is 10:30 am here and I´m still in bed. The heater is on and a cold sun shines but I don´t dare get up.
I will have to do it though as I only got a piece of cheese when I went to turn on the heater in the dining room.
I left the whites soaking in the washing machine but I guess I will have to wash them again with hot water.
I don´t like winter. But you know know that if you have read my posts. And I don´t think that it would help me if I won the lottery and had central heating at home. I don´t like central heating either. I like the Caribbean sun. It has the tropical splendour as the song says PLUS the trade winds.
Friends, I will go for breakfast. Maybe a hot cup of coffee will change my mood.

I don´t mind 32 °C in summer although I don´t have air conditioner. It starts bothering me from 36 on.

I'm so use to winter in Michigan, it doesn't bother me any more. Summer heat is worse, just my own opinion.

I don´t use a fan in summer although I have one. But I spend money in gas and electricity to heat me in winter.

@marguicha We have a window AC for summer, we don't use it every day. July, we've used it twice.

I don't mind cold weather as long as the wind isn't blowing fiercely. Actually, I am nostalgic for it on this 90 degree plus day. The only thing I don't like about cold weather is when it gets cold in the house and my hands get cold. I hate to run the heat. It has to be really pretty cold for me to turn it on.

I don´t have central heating so a couple of gas heaters is not enough for the house. My hands and feet DO get cold.

@marguicha You could wear some of those fingerless gloves in the house for warmth I will do that sometimes in the winter.

I added some just boiled water before I finished the wash. Still, I´m glad that my garments come out usually almost clean.

That's quite cold. Coastal areas are nice when warm because of the winds, the air is dry.
Where I live humidity is high and hot weather is unbearable, so is cold weather... but obviously I seem to have forgotten what cold feels like.

Our summers are dry. And our winters too, now. We are in the middle of a drought and it just won´t rain. It is less cold when it rains.

I'm with you. If I could live anywhere, I'd live in the Florida Keys. It would be hot and humid; but that's OK. It's beautiful there and there is NO S**W!
