While staying at an Airbnb that we stay at several times a year I decided that we would not eat out at for this trip. I wanted to grill all of our meals and lets just say these meals have all been better than any restaurant meals we could have gotten in the area.
Some of the new things I tried were sweetcorn smothered in butter a little sugar and basil, peaches with brown sugar and cinnamon, grilled pineapple and ham kabobs and brown sugar and bourbon chicken kabobs. That's just a small list of some of the foods we grilled. I love how grilling transforms foods that I wouldn't normally touch into delicious healthy meals. Cooking all of our meals at our Airbnb has been fun and has saved us so much money. I will make this a habit every time we visit here.

We have done Airbnb a couple of times and it actually worked out pretty well, especially in Florida when we pooled families and got a beachfront house. One of them was $11,000 for the week, but we shared the cost between quite a few people. It was still expensive, but not as expensive as it would have been for one.

Glad that you saved lot of money. On a lighter side, you can save money if you are good at cooking, else you can't. And It depends on person to person, some women love to cook even during an outing, or whenever they go on a vacation. But for few, vacation means a complete relaxing time and like to order from restaurants.
Its the fun and love that matters, and am glad that you managed it well.

@snowy22315 yes, its cheaper, cleaner, larger and more private than getting a motel room. The one we have is two stories, has a full kitchen, wrap around deck, two bathrooms, wrap around covered deck and a fire pit. Also has a creek next to the property where my son likes to catch crawdads.

Airbnbs are so much better than staying in a motel, just my opinion. We have stayed at several different ones but the one we are in now is our favorite and we come here at least four times a year staying a week at a time.

Do Airbnb place provides veggies and stuffs in the kitchen or the tourists buy themselves according to their likes?
