You can drink water out of a glass, plastic tumbler, steel tumbler, ceramic cup or even a Tupperware tumbler. Does it alter the taste of the water?
I find drinking out of a glass tumbler the best. Maybe a steel tumbler is also good. Plastic cups seems to make the water taste different.
There are also cups and tumblers made of copper, aluminium or other alloys.
Disposable cups are the worst to drink water out of.

@pitstop Nope that's our comfort that makes the difference we feel the taste of water changes when we drink it in some vessel of our preference and feels good
It's our mind that made us think it

Either store bought bottles or a pitcher which contains a water filter (purifier) into a glass. Tap water always seems to have a bitter taste to me.

That is an interesting question. I usually drink out of whatever is handy. I guess I prefer regular glass glasses.

Yes the taste differs depending how you store it.
I drink it from plastic bottles. During my childhood days I used to drink it from the earthern pot
But of all, drinking water stored in copper urn is the best
Health Benefits Of Drinking Copper Water - Prevents Cancer,Stimulates Thyroid Function, Boosts Haemoglobin Count, Regulates Hypertension, Fights Infections, Soothes Joints and Strengthens Bones, Maintains Heart Health, Helps Lose Weight.
Research suggests that for the leached copper to kill bacteria, the water must be stored in a copper vessel at least overnight or up to 48 hours. This means that the best containers are most likely copper pots or jars rather than copper water bottles that are filled on the go.
