August 22 - What I'm Thankful for Today

17 days until I get the keys. 
This is the day the LORD has made. I WILL REJOICE and be GLAD in it!
I'm thankful for the church service this morning. It was awesome! I got plenty of hugs and saw the new baby born on the 9th to one of the music team members. She's so sweet.
I'm thankful for the nap I got when I got home. I woke at 2 AM this morning. I was surprised I didn't fall asleep in church, but I started to when I sat at the computer. I got a good hour and a half nap.
I'm thankful Vendetta is available today. I think it was yesterday. I went online and saw the Kindle version, but not the paperback, however that one is also available.
I'm thankful I have my bedroom packed. Now, I need to dust the dressers. The pictures are off the walls too. I only need to do the closets and that won't take any time to pack. Next up, the office.
I'm thankful for a book I started reading today. It reads well, even though there's a lot of passive voice in it and several POVs (Point of View). A book should have no more than three POVs, this one has at least four. Maybe more. I don't know if I want to change that though. We'll see when I get ready to think about publishing it. It's called Destination Love. Not your typical romance. It will probably be the one after Where Eagles Soar. The next one I'm working on to publish. I won't start on it though until after I move.
Okay, that's been my day and it's almost time to go to bed. I want to be sure to go to the pool tomorrow. How was your day? What are you thankful for today? Thanks for reading. The image belongs to me. The full moon this morning.

Very exciting getting a book published and moving too! Will you be able to get your security deposit back? Did you have to put one down on the new place?

@snowy22315 I have the move-out checklist. One place, I did everything I was supposed to and still didn't get the deposit back. She gave me bogus reasons why she kept my money.

I paid the security when they accepted me for the apartment back in June. I hope so. My son's girlfriend has a cousin who is going to do the move-out cleaning. I'll do what I can. I'm sure she'll do even more. So, I really hope they don't find a reason not to give me my deposit back.

Destination Love is a fast read and going well. So far, I've done minor editing. I'll dig into it when I get ready to publish it. I won't start on Where Eagles Soar until I move. That's the next one I'm publishing.
I'm glad you saw the moon during the storm. It's good you made a pact with Doodles.

Sunday I was thankful to go back to my trailer and get some stuff I wanted to get. I got the remote to my dvd player. I also got my jewelry and some wax melts. I wanted to see if one of the wax melts will calm one of my uncle's cats. I think it has helped some because he has started laying down at my feet now.

I am thankful we are drying out for now. We have had a lot of rain lately causing trouble for many west of us. Major flooding there, we were spared the worst though we have debris to clean up from the tornado that came through at the end of the week. Have a blessed day.

I'm glad you're drying out. I'm sorry there's flooding due to the hurricane or tropical storm that came through. I didn't know you had a tornado also. I hope it won't take long to get everything cleaned up.
