Weird Dream

Before I call it a night, I want to share my weird dream last night.
Basically, I was on the way to a funeral. A kin of my previous expat manager passed away. Based on my dream, the kin was not a blood relative but I'm guessing it was his mother-in-law. Now, when I got to the home it didn't look and felt like a funeral. People were actually partying but the coffin was there and there were wreaths.
When I went out for a drink, I saw my former manager and he was with all the other expat managers and all of them were obviously drunk. Like what I previously wrote, the mood was not somber, it was actually festive. As I approached my former manager, he saw me and his eyes lighted up. He said he was happy to see me. The other expat managers were also ecstatic to see me and everyone was offering me drinks and I gamely obliged and drank it all.
After downing a couple of shots, I offered to buy some more alcohol and my former expat manager agreed and gave me a wad of cash. I stepped outside and walked towards a bar feeling jubilant.
Then I woke up with a smile on my face.
Weird dream indeed but I had a feeling of bliss and peacefulness.

Your dream sounds weird, but it is nice to wake up with a smile and a feeling of happiness. I have some pretty weird dreams sometimes, but I often forget them when I wake up.

Is liquor ban already lifted? If not, I think the managers must have been telling you should meet them soon once the pandemic is over.

It does sound like a very weird dream but since you woke up with a smile on your face it sounds like good things happened in the dream.
