August 26 - What I'm Thankful for Today

It's been a good day today. Not as hot as yesterday. There was even a nice breeze to do my hourly walk around the complex. Every hour I walked, I hoped to move my car back to the parking space in front of my apartment building. That didn't happen. This management can't be trusted to do what they say they will. Last week it took two days before they allowed residents into their parking spaces. It looks the same this time too.
I'm thankful my headache went away. I didn't make it to the pool this morning. It felt like I had a vice grip around my head and someone tightening the screws. I took Ibuprofen when it kicked in. It finally left after 8 AM this morning.
I'm thankful I'm running out of room to put boxes. It means the packing is about finished. 
13 days until I get the keys.
I'm thankful I got the notifications done before noon. It was fun visiting with you this morning.
I'm thankful I have all my hourly steps. I'm certain I have 10K, but not wearing a Fitbit, I don't have a way of knowing for certain.
I'm thankful for a relaxing afternoon. I watched some of my shows. I didn't work on anything. It felt good.

That's cool. That's a lot to be thankful for.
I'm thankful it wasn't as hot today as it'd ben, too. We tried our new sunroof and it's real cool.

Oh, it was, but not to the extent it had been as of late. Which is something to be thankful for. We're showing signs of fall, though. So, I can't really complain. At least , if things go as planned, you'll move before the colder weather hits. @just4him

You are all ready or almost to get out of there! What a nice feeling! I'm glad you had a nice morning with good weather for your walk. It's been breezy here today and I image we will see some winds tomorrow and more rain. At least the ground is good and dry here and hopefully will soak all the rain right up. Worried for those areas projected to get 15 to 20 inches of rain though. That's not going to be good.

@just4him Thank you. Hoping that we don't have power issues because it is still quite warm here. I remember Hurricane Andrew back in the 90's that knocked out the electricity for over a week. It was sweltering and too hot to stay inside so everyone was outside all day long. Cooking was all done on BQ pits.

It would be a lot easier to tell you what I'm not thankful for today...believe me..but I am thankful there is a bit of a breeze today and I was able to get a nice swim in. I have a roof over my head and enough to eat and drink and reasonably good health so there ya go right there.

@jstory07 Oh yeah! If I have to get rid of everything else, to make room for it, I will. Though that won't be necessary. I plan on using the table for it. I already eat at my computer, so using the table, is no inconvenience, unless I have company for dinner. It's happened. I'll just move the computer.

After dealing with that garbage, it's no wonder you had a headache! Thank God, it went away:) I'm thankful that God says he will never leave me nor forsake me. Today, I need him more than anything else in this world!
