I got a call about an hour ago how my 6 year old forgot his lunchbox at home. The nurse said if I wanted to bring it down for him I could. I told her yes. She knows my little guy can’t eat much at school since his has a lot of food allergies. I noticed when I got back from dropping the kids off this morning that my oldest left hers at home which wasn’t a big deal since she can buy a hot lunch. I didn’t realize that her brothers was still up there and I had forgot to place it into his bag like I normal do.

It was lunch time when they called me. I don’t live far from the school so his teacher would have given him extra time if it was need

@ShyBear88 Its nice of the school to let him have a longer lunch if needed. Some places are not so understanding.

@nonersays the school system here isn’t allowed to send any kid home they hasn’t had lunch unless they are sick. They are required by state law. Since it’s on his recode from last year and this year he has several food allergies that I’d be sending him with lunch provided so I didn’t have to worry about an EPIPEN going into school.
