When God said 'Increase, multiply and fill the earth' it has been totally misunderstood. He surely did not mean people but cauliflower, cabbages, fruits and all the greens But no people are busy multiplying and the world is busting at the seams What do you think God said?

God and mythology preach to us a lot, we choose what we want to and turn deaf ears to others. That is a beautiful picture

@allknowing I know. I wish the human ego was used in a rightful way. It seems like those pictures are from Sedona, Arizona. Seems like a Deja Vu moment to me. It seems I have been there a few times

God did not mean to keep multiplying he meant to have families and figured we would use our brains to not over do it.

God did say "Multiply and fill the earth" but he also gave the humans intelligence. They must know how much to multiply and when to stop.

Yes, that's found in the Old Testament of the Bible, in the book of Genesis, chapter 1, verse 28. "God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground." He was talking to the man and the woman that he had created. "Be fruitful", is mentioned there though, so as you surmised, maybe we are to grow many fruits, and become fruit-full of them too.

I was thinking that God wants a huge family of humans.

The earth has limits and there is no place for people now.

God didn't really say anything, it's all in our minds. But I agree that it would have been much better to multiply lots of other living things.

@Fleura There is more to just saying it was written by human beings. Don' t you think this needs a lot of deliberation to convince each other?

@allknowing Sure. But the Bible is written by humans. Of course they wrote it so as to set themselves above the rest of creation!
