What's so great about Tik Tok?

I have been resisting joining Tik Tok, because I am already on youtube. I mean how much time do I need to spend watching videos? It seems like Tik Tok has swept the nation though. Most people on there seem to be young though. The Tik Tok "Stars" all seem to be under 20. Anyway, are you on this site? First it was FB, then Youtube then Instagram..now Tik Tok is the thing.

@snowy22315 Yes, they say it is invasive but I have had no problems with it thank goodness. You will die laughing on there I tell you.

I know it is very popular among very young people. After reading their TOS and privacy policies I decided NOT to join.

Most people do not care who gets all their personal data, until the day they have a problem.

To catch up with this TikTok trend, instagram and youtube started 'shorts' i.e short videos. Unfortunately though, tiktok is a banned thing in my country due to non-conformance of data regulations set by the Indian government.

I once downloaded the tiktok app. I then found the videos to be baseless. I uninstalled the app.

I know Tik Tok from a reupload video on youtube that shows quick drawing or painting. A lot of digital drawing artist post video on Tik Tok. But i have never downloaded Tik Tok on my phone.
