I will no longer buying Dollar General batteries.

I opened up a brand new package of AAA batteries I got from the Dollar General this past Friday. I put a couple of batteries in my digital camera. I took a total of four pictures with the camera. When i am not taking pictures; I have the camera turned off. When I tried to take a picture this morning of some flowers; the camera said low battery. The batteries should have lasted longer than that. If I would have kept the receipt on the batteries; I would have taken them back to the Dollar General.

Cheap batteries never work long in a camera. They would be fine in a flashlight or something like that but a camera drains them as quickly as blink. You need to use Duracell Plus. Read the packaging and see if it says they are suitable for digital camera use.

Those batteries give one use. You need at least a hundred batteries for one week LOL

You could've gotten a bad batch or the camera could be getting too old and using more out of a battery then you realize.

I bought the camera back in June of 2021 at Walmart.I think it is the batteries because I got some batteries at another store and the camera is working fine.

I always use Duracell batteries. Sometimes they will let you exchange without a receipt.
