I just remembered there is a big community yard sale today. I almost forgot about it. I like the ones that are multi family or neighborhood deals. This is in a pretty upscale community too, so they should have some good things. The problem is if I see something I will have to write a check. I don't have any cash really. All my money is on cards. I guess I could get some from the ATM though as my bank reimburses for ATM charges. Maybe I will do that. I need some anyway as I am going to wash my winter comforter at a laundry mat. I have my doubts about trying to put it in the regular washer. Do you ever go to yard or garage sales? Of course I haven't even used the fishing pole I bought the last time I went to one, but I am sure I will eventually. Have a great day!

Oh really? What do people do with stuff they don't want..if it stuff other people might want or be able to use?

Yeah, I have written them before. Since the people are all local, and so is the bank it isn't a big deal. If they were leary you could always offer to put your phone number on it too. I have never had anyone say no though.

Hope you find some good sales at the yard sale. I remember you saying you got your bread maker? for a great price awhile ago (or was it a mixer?) I rarely have cash handy these days.

Oh yes, fantastic deal on the bread maker. I love it. That one is run by the church and they are very professional about, test everything first.

I love yard sales and good wills I didn't know they would take checks at a yard sale I don't think they will here . ..I don't have a car so I don't get to go to many yard sales I caught one in walking distance and it was good bought the grandkids some toys lol I don't know if you have a wal greens there here we have one in walking distance and they have a teller ATM and they don't charge you any fees not sure about where your at but that helps me alot
I go there and get all my cash ..

It is up to the individual owner what they do or don't. There isn't a handbook for yard sales lol. I will get the ATM fees refunded Glad you got to hit some nice sales.

@Nana49 I know for sure I wrote one at a moving sale in this seelopment. Usually if people want to move something enough, they will take them. Besides we are all local and basically neighbors.

Yeah, I stopped at the ATM..but I couldn't find the sales. I am sure it was this weekend..It is on the cold side today though. Maybe they decided not to have it.
