I don't know if anybody noticed, but I haven't been here for about a week.
You know the old saying "bad things come in 3's? I think that's what is happening with me.
First I end up breaking an ankle. Second, (I just can't believe this) I got the 2 part COVID vaccination, but then I started feeling really bad last Saturday. By Tuesday I could barely do anything because I was so tired and throwing up over and over. So I went into Walgreens and got a COVID test. 2 hours later I get the email with the test results back and learned that I tested positive for COVID. I got so sick that somebody could have set me on fire and I wouldn't have been able to get off the couch.
So that's 2 bad things. My grandma always said bad things or bad news always come in 3's. Now I'm all paranoid because the first 2 things were no picnic I'm worried that if a third bad thing happens to roll around my way it's gonna have to be something pretty bad to top the first 2 negative things. It makes me want to hide out under my couch like the dog does when we have a bad thunderstorm....lol
How has everybody else's week been going? I hope you are all doing well. And hoping that bad things come in 3's is just an old wives tale.
Is anybody else a little superstitious when it comes to things like this. I know some people will scoff at me because I'm really superstitious.

Gee..that is a bad break to get covid after the vax.
Says it all really.
I am glad you are making it though and are somewhat better?
I am superstitious to a point.

I get really superstitious when it comes to watching football. I'm a Green Bay Packer fan and I get so bad that there are certain jerseys I wear and certain things I do. Like eat the same snacks if they won the last time. I don't wash my football jerseys either until there's a loss. I know it sounds weird but I'm convinced if I change or do something different than the week before they'll lose..lol

@RebeccasFarm I love that you call it unusual. I call it weird but I've been doing some of that stuff since I was a child and learned most of it from my dad and my uncles

@WomanWarrior1969 Sometimes we have difficult times and more serious matters cause us to forget something that already happened. Take care, you will be fine now.
