A Beautiful Sunny Day

Today is a beautiful sunny day. I bundled up with coat and scarf and went for my walk. The wind was blowing cold but walking briskly I didn’t get cold.
After finishing my walk I stopped at the gym and did a bit of a workout. I rode the stationary bike. Walked the high stepping machine and lifted weights. I felt like I had a good workout. I needed it since being stuck inside during the last days of rain and snow.
What do you guys do when you’re stuck inside due to bad weather.

I usually find myself a good book and bury my nose in its pages. Or I login to My Lot, to talk with someone.

I talk on myLot, I read a book or I cook fantastic food.
It's 55F right now so Pretty and I walked around in Walmart. (We had to pick up our prescriptions.) The store was almost empty. It was nice.

@RubyHawk We always wear our masks if we go out of the house. If a store has too many people in it, Pretty won't go in so we go home until the store doesn't have very many people.

@DaddyEvil Pretty has the right idea. I always wear a mask but I only go to a store when I must so I stay As far from others as possible and do my shopping.

You can enjoy shopping if few people are there. I hate to have to go in a crowded store. I had to pick up some meds at Kroger yesterday and there were too many people there for my taste but I picked up my meds and got out. I had a mask on.

I'm glad you got outside for your walk and got to the gym too.
When my body cooperates, I walk the hallway or use the foot cycle to get my exercise when I can't go to the gym. My left hip has been painful lately, so I've used the cycle instead of walking the hallway.

@RubyHawk same here. When I sleep during the day, it's hard to sleep at night. But it's healthy to sleep if your brain feels like it.

I didn't realize you painted pictures. Very nice.
I've not been exercising at present. Other than walking back and forth at home unloading boxes to figure out what should go where in the kitchen. I do have an exercise video for seniors that I plan on using one of these weeks but haven't yet.
Working my shift and doing paperwork to prepare for taxes and unboxing kitchen stuff leaves little time for normal exercise. I do plan on licking down in doing keto again and trying to lose ten more pounds.

@MarshaMusselman I’m trying to get enough exercise. I don’t have that much to do in my apartment so I walk and go to the gym.

It's summer in Australia. We have been going outdoors such as beaches, parks, nearby rivers and lakes. Gardening. Peaceful Rallies.

That's good! I do excercises during commercials like walking in place, stretching excercises...Was a nice sunny day here at Oahu, so went shopping & errands.

@oahuwriter On sunny day I enjoy walking about an hour and going to the gym for a little extra. On rainy days I’m stuck inside but I do walk in the hall and my apartment.
