Last night my husband bought a pork roast from the store while it was on the manger sale. Which means you know you have to cook it really soon or it’ll go bad. So my husband placed it in our slow cooker last night. It’s been cooking all night and all day on slow. It should be all ready by 6pm to feed the kids dinner before I head off to my dance class while my husband takes care of the kids. It’s a big roast! I came down stairs this morning and had to remove some of the liquid in the crock pot so it didn’t spill on the counter. I also removed what fat I could see that got cooked out.

I love pork roast! I was telling my daughter this past weekend that we needed to buy some to cook next time it was on sale.

@ShyBear88 I was telling my girlfriend last night that I’ve reluctantly become a vegetarian. Not because I want to, but because I can’t afford these crazy meat prices any more.

@moffittjc lol. Meat is a must for us since someone’s food allergies doesn’t give him a lot of protein so meat is always on the menu. We also have lots of fruit in the house.

I don’t always love depending on how it’s cooked

Yummy. I bet your kitchen smells great. It would have had me sampling some for breakfast.

Yeah right PE the stores don’t have a lot of options to choice from meat wise. Pork in general we do buy weekly not also a pork roast because they are big.

It’s pork roast it’s suppose to be going for a good long time especially when you need to remove the bone form the inside. Also so low makes it easier to cut up later.
