Covid is not good, not at all, but I cannot say that it really affected my life. We are both retired and we already spent most of our time at home.

@58lordstreet We had never so strict restrictions, we could go out, go grocery shopping, have a walk in our city.

im retired also but we were only allowed to the gate of the complex for the first 6 months unless we were shopping

I agree. This is ignorance at its best. Covid has ruined supply chain, created labor shortages, made people lazy and unproductive and so many other things. I am glad she has time to have meals with her husband. My question would be where'd she get the food? Store shelves are empty. lol

Life slows down a lot with the pandemic. I can see why she said that. I don't like fast pace/ hectic life, am introvert and I am used to live with less so for me pandemic doesn't affect much of my daily life. Yes doctor appointments get delayed and some things take longer to arrive, that's about it.

I think she has enough money to slow down to be honest

Covid is NOT a good thing . . . but the time during having to stay at home was not entirely horrible - but I only speak for myself. Let's face it - sure I could have done some better things - no doubt. However one of the good things was it bought me some time to catch up on stuff. I cooked/ate healthier - for the family too. Lot's more, really.

Since COVID really didn't affect my life, or my lifestyle, I don't care. The truth is, sometimes it takes a crisis, to get a person to change their lives, and better themselves.

@58lordstreet I think it boils down in how you chose to think of it. Where I live, in Florida, the so-called restrictions were a joke. A few smaller businesses did shut down, and we felt job loss here. But, that was about it. For me, personally, it didn't change how I lived my life. I know that there was a lot of confusion as to what you could and couldn't do. And, people were more afraid of getting in trouble for living, then the virus, itself.

@kaylachan never really heard much about what america was doing during the pandemic.Say what you want about Trump but he did keep usa in the news, Biden seems to have made it disappear

I'm with you on this one. There aren't a lot of benefits to be gained from pandemics.

Wow, I haven't heard too much praise about it at all. It has forced families to spend more time together but then the ones that live somewhere else--it puts a strain on those people and relationships.

I don't personally know anyone who has said that Covid is a good thing. Most of the people I know were upset and depressed about Covid. But my daughter and I both did appreciate having the time to read more. Of course, that doesn't mean we think Covid was good. Just tried to put a positive spin on it.
