I’m Still Around Just Not Often

Hi all, I have become quite a hermit. I’m just writing a lot, it keeps me from thinking too much.
Last week I went home for one night and to the Y for exercise, it felt good and very normal.
Not much else new with me. I spend a lot of time in my room watching MKR, I am totally addicted to this show. I also love The Gilded Age.
I ordered two new pairs of sneakers from Zulily and I am waiting for them to come in.
All the financial issues have resolved so I am now getting the pension and social security benefits I am entitled to. I got my state tax refund in just 5 days, Go Connecticut!!!
I have been doing genealogy research for my daughter in laws step father and it has been so interesting!!
Anyway I am healing slowly but surely. I miss all of you!!

I really do miss everyone but my brain is just not right and I have to keep really busy to keep from falling to pieces. I will be back eventually.

I missed this post...I was thinking about you yesterday and wondered how you are. I can't imagine how tough this is. I'm so glad you have such a close and wonderful family. You're in my prayers.

lol That is Brie, she is 15 years old and my sweet baby. I haven't been on Facebook much either, I have become somewhat of a hermit. lol But today I had lunch with a girlfriend which was a big deal for me.

It’s good to hear you’re doing all right.Im spending time sorting out my poetry also getting all my pictures in albums. It helps to keep busy. It’s good that you have all pensions and so on taken care of. It’s a lot to do and takes time. Take care. My thoughts are with you.

You are missed too and so good when you can come here. I am not here all the time and have had lots to do and still more and not sure how much next week I will be here. It sounds like you have been productive in other ways. Congrats on the pension and Social Security nd getting your State refund in 5 days. That is really fast. Take your time to heal. Take care of yourself.

@Belle Starr So glad to know that you are making every bit of effort to bounce back to normalcy. Of course, it may not be easy. But my dear, what can be done except to bow down to God's will. He sure works in mysterious ways!
Doing something for yourself like "ordering two pairs of sneakers" can be uplifting- - - no matter how small this exercise may be.
