Taco Salad For Lunch & Dinner

Stopped and enjoyed a taco salad while out and about today. Very good. Love the extra guacamole they always add. And such great atmosphere. Felt a little hungry a few minutes ago. Had a half-sandwich. That will be enough for the day. The salad was very filling as I also enjoyed chips and cheese sauce while waiting. Another rain shower coming soon. Then we should have clear skies for the next few days. I don't mind the rain at all. And the temperatures stay down with the rain. That is always a big plus. Enjoy your weekend. No plans here that I am aware of. A few things lined up to watch later. Looking forward to a quiet weekend. Photo is mine.

We are expecting rain tonight also. We had a nice little supper with fish and chips, enjoy the taco salad.

@CarolDM Thank you. I just needed some time keeping busy. I am still grieving my mother I feel. You know how that 'timetable' differs with each of us.

I like guacamole, I wanted to prepare at home, but I have not found avocados that looked ripe enough to be used.

@CarolDM - It is not easy to be sure if an avocado is ripe enough to prepare guacamole. Most of the time I guess right, but if it's too hard when I start to cut I have to use in a salad.

I remember a sandwich shop about half a block from the building where I worked. They made the best taco salad. Had garbanzo beans in it and they used a different dressing than you would have thought. Very tasty.

This was at a Mexican restaurant. Very good. I do not like garbanzo beans.
