RIP Dennis Waterman

Recently we lost a great actor in Dennis Waterman. He was famous for his role in Minder, though some people are not as familiar with him as others.
One Tory MP got him mixed up with Pete Waterman from the music industry. It is actually quite shocking and embarrassing. Mistakes do happen, but they are completely different people and it must be humiliating for the MP involved.
Minder is often shown on TV even today, and I do love watching these old TV shows. Back then you could get away with a lot more than you can these days. People are far too easily offended these days.

I think I saw the episode of Minder that Kenneth Cope guest starred in. (I had a crush on him when Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) aired in America when I was a teenager in the mid-70s.)

I remember Minder well. It was a great show and Waterman was a very big part of it - the main part, really.
