Good day to you all,
Just got back home and enjoyed my weekend but on my schedule, it is coming to a close fast. In a few hours it will be time to get to sleep to start the week in the morning. It was nice to have the extra day off work.
I was able to get out and do a little local camping and the rain held off for me, though yesterday it looked like it might rain in the afternoon. It was a bit warm but was windy yesterday and last night. Today it got to warm got up to 90F (32C), so I called it a little earlier and came home to a nice cool house. It was nice to get out there and just clear my head. I feel recharged right now and that was needed.
Hope you all are enjoying your day and if you were lucky enough to have a long weekend hope you made the most of it.

As much as I would love to go camping just about every weekend, it's just too hot and humid now in Florida to make it enjoyable. So I do a pause on the camping trips until usually sometime in October. But glad you were able to get out and enjoy a little nature!

@Bensen32 We have beautiful springs around here that have freezing cold water in them, which feels amazing in the summer, but it’s still not fun trying to sleep in a tent or hammock when it’s still hot and humid at night.

The weekend was pretty good. I had family members here. Of course we had to have a cook out.

Yeah, I would say so. My husband has five days in a row off, and this was day 3 of five. It wasn't to bad because we were in the van, but it didn't take long to start boiling a bit, when we got home. Fun times.
