Something beautiful in the sky.. double rainbow

It's 11 PM here as I write this post. And I am a little past my bedtime. I have a working day tomorrow and I need to be awake by 5 AM. But there is something beautiful that I want to share with mylot friends. So, just trying to keep my eyes open and finish this post
We got rain around 5 in the evening. We didn't get any rain in the last four days. And that's a long break for our city. . We get very frequent rains from April to January. I was up on the terrace when it started. It started with the light drizzle and suddenly when I looked up, I spotted this beauty...double rainbow in the sky
. It's been few years that we saw a double rainbow.
I tried to capture it in my mobile camera but you cab see that I didn't do a good job. It's just an okay okay kind of picture. It was more beautiful than the picture. But it was short lived.
It's still raining outside. That saves me from watering the garden tomorrow morning 
. And I love this music of rain falling on my roof. This will put me to peaceful sleep.
Catch up with you later tomorrow. There is a travel on Thursday morning ( I would make a post about that tomorrow). And I would be busy packing tomorrow after work.

Double rainbow is not so common. I saw one a few years back. About rainy season, we don't have a specific season for rain here in Bangalore. Due to its geographical location, Bangalore stays pleasant throughout year and we receive rains throughout the year. End of February and March is the hottest time here and then you might not get rain. Else it rains throughout the year.

I love seeing a double rainbow and it does not happen often. I once see a very vivid rainbow and it feels good to look at it

@arunima25 A Facebook friend just recently post a full rainbow which I haven't seen yet. It is not just half circle it is full circle rainbow

Rainbow is so pretty and it cheers us.. We get a lot of rain here and so spotting a rainbow is common. But spotting a double rainbow is rare. I have seen double rainbow only thrice in my life so far

@averygirl72 Wow! I have not seen a full circle rainbow. I have seen a perfect semicircle but not a full circle. It would be spectacular. I hope to see one sometimes.

I seldom see a double rainbow in the sky. I saw that maybe twice in my life in Baguio city. It reminds me of someone dear who passed away already.

Sounds like the dear one was very close to you. 
Double rainbow are rare. I have seen them only thrice in person. We get a lot of rain here and so we keep seeing rainbow but it's special to see double rainbow.

They are so rare. In my four decades and more of life I have seen them in person only three times.

@arunima25 Double happiness - I like that! I know I've seen the double, but I don't know what conditions create that. Quite often I'm not in a position to capture it in a photo - so I have no proof

Yes, I have only seen it thrice in my life so far. We keep getting rain throughout the year and spotting rainbow is common. But we don't see double rainbow. It's special.. double happiness in the sky

I used to look for rainbows after it rained but haven't in years. I don't know why I don't look anymore. Just busy, I guess.

I was not expecting a double rainbow..It was just that I was at right place at right time. I called my neighbour friend to come out and see. Her four years old daughter loved it. It was very short lived.

Hope the weather is better now. I am at airport ready to leave Delhi in an hour. I was in Delhi in the last three days and glad that the weather was well behaved.

I'm always enjoy seeing a rainbow. They don't happen all the time so when you see one it is special

Rainbow does make us feel good. It's beautiful and does cheer us up. We get a lot of rain here and so spotting rainbow is common but double rainbow is rare. I have seen it only three times in my life.
