Tomatoes Fresh On The Vine

My neighbor is in Florida all week, at Disney with his family. I volunteered to water his garden while he is away.
I noticed a few tomatoes on the vine yesterday evening. Very nice to see these. He has about ten tomato plants. They all are looking good so far.
In a few weeks he will have fresh tomatoes ready to share. Cannot wait to enjoy a delicious tomato sandwich. Fried green tomatoes are another favorite.
You cannot beat a fresh tomato from the garden. Anyone else have a garden?

@CarolDM I know we say it all the time but nothing is better than a garden grown tomato. i miss my neighbor who would share her tomatoes with me before she moved.

I don't have a garden but am growing tomatoes in the flowerbed and we have spinach, lettuce and green peppers growing in pots on our front porch. We have tomatoes on the vine now. I can't wait for them to get ripe!

I love tomatoes, we have a small garden but I'm not good in growing tomatoes, most varieties that grow here are " determinate" so they do not vine, perhaps I should try my luck with vining tomatoes.
