We're Having a Heat Wave

Happy Wednesday Everyone! it's a hot one today. Guess that's an understatement considering parts of the world are sweltering right now.
Today is a busy day here.
The dog groomer is coming in about 45 min and poor little Mush is really in dire need of a cut. She's been in need of grooming for weeks but we had to keep cancelling because of Gizmo. Today she'll get the works and I'm sure she'll be happy being cooler for the summer.
This afternoon I have a doctor appointment for my routine check-up etc.
I know this day will fly by and I don't know how much time I'll actually have to chat but I wanted to say hello before the day got busy.

I'm glad to hear that Mush will get a well-deserved grooming today:) It's not here, already 80degrees this morning. Our weather prediction says it will cool down by the end of this week.

Mush looks so much better after getting her hair cut. It's much shorter now and shes not so hot.
Hope you get some cooler weather by the weekend. Not sure about us here

This afternoon I finally made a doctor appointment for my routine checkup... it's on Aug. 11... Since it's been a couple years since my last 50 thousand mile checkup, what's another coupla weeks?

We are having extreme heat and humidity also.
I think that it should break late this afternoon when the storms roll thru, time will tell.
I hope that Mush enjoys his grooming, poor baby has been thru alot with his partner in crime so ill and now gone.
I hope that the doctor finds you in good health.
My hubby and I are both getting our second covid booster shots this afternoon. I think it a bit much to have so many injections in such a short time, but we are careful and we may be making a mistake, we do not know.

I don't know how much help all these vaccines and boosters are doing but I guess time will tell. At least I feel that they help and if we still get Covid it's not as severe as in the beginning.
Mush looks so cute with her new haircut. It's much shorter and she's probably much more comfortable in this heat.

Yes she's a little confused and looks for him. They've been best buddies for many years but I think ultimately she knew he was sick.

I am sorry about Gizmo, but think it is awesome the groomer will come give Mush a cut. Even in the heat the days do go by very quickly.

At first they told us that the heatwave would have been over by the 20th at night... then by the 22nd and now we know we have to suffer until the 25th. Well 26th is the day of Saint Anne and we know that it always rains on that day... fingers crossed.

I didn't know that it always rains on the feast of St. Anne. I'm going to have to make sure I check to see if we get rain that day too. It's miserably hot here but at least I have a/c which keeps the house cool.

We have a pleasant weather here. The parts of India that were facing terrible heat have also got some relief after the monsoon arrived. But yes, too much rain in certain parts have caused flooding.

Pleasant weather certainly is wonderful.
Everything went well with my dr visit and Mush got a shorter haircut so now she's much more comfortable in all this heat.
