Is it possible myLot can become a diary too?

When this photo was cooked 22 years ago, I was 40 years old and my wife was 34 years young...

Time was as my wife, who has hurriedly passed, I was left behind with our three loving children to recall our love... As of today, August 21, 2022, is exactly the 7th year and 27 days since my wife passed away on July 24, 2015. Since then, every year, my children and I have always celebrated her death anniversary, her birthday which falls on the 16th day of September, and our wedding anniversary which falls on the 9th day of December. Imelda has already been gone for a long time and yet, still my love for her is still alive in my heart. Honestly speaking, for the seven years that Imelda left me, I don't have the time to look for another Imelda to replace her in my heart. Already I am a 62year old now. Again, I would ask you the question: Is it possible myLot can become a diary too? When is a diary can be called a diary?

I have boundaries here, even though I enjoy my friends here. Somethings are too personal for me to discuss here.

I got your point @TheHorse. I remember what the Admin said a few hours ago, said: "...if you don't mind knowing the entire world can see what you write here, then there is no reason you couldn't use it as one." That say is full of wisdom... (I noticed when I responded to The Horse's comment, I was directed to the same comment section of @MALUSE. Why does it happen? California is far from Germany.)

Most people consider a diary to be personal and private, but if you don't mind knowing the entire world can see what you write here, then there is no reason you couldn't use it as one.

I got your idea @GoAskAlice/Admin, I'll take your say as a piece of open advice. Sometimes there are events that happened in my life and I keep them personal and private but most of my time in the virtual world are like an open book which open for everyone to read it. Again thank you for time, Admin.

Yes, you definitely can! This is a place where creative minds spill out their ideas as well as their everyday routines and experiences. I, myself, am committed to stay here for good as this is healthier than the normal social media platforms than Facebook. I also like it here because the people in this place is friendlier. Plus, you can also earn, too! What we're doing back in the days was what we called "MyLotting" and Mylot is a great place, trust me. Been here since 2012. Happy MyLotting to you as well!

Some people like to use myLot as a diary. They write what they did during the day, what they had for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It can surely be a diary.

@PRUELPO I like personal posts, I would avoid to disclosure too personal details, but what we do during a day is not too personal.

I side with what admin responded with. Ultimately myLot is an outlet. It is a way to share thoughts, ideas, concerns, life events and whatever else strikes our fancy. It is never private and always public. But it is myLot and yourLot and theirLot and everyone'sLot. So, how you choose to use the site is entirely up to you, within the rules of course.

@PRUELPO Beyond that, just have fun here. The fun factor makes it more enjoyable here and makes it feel less like "work."

Yes, it is sort of a personal diary. You can write anything which you feel, about your personal experience and all. But the only difference is your diary is your thing but here everyone can read what you felt or experienced in your life. Sorry to know about your wife. Hope God gives you the strength to bear the loss.

As part of the game and truth, I would be getting ready. Anyways, my life and my experiences in life have become an open book on social media platforms for a long time already. You know what, for a few days of my stay in myLot, I am happy indeed and would like to explore furthermore into mylot, @Sanjeev. Thank you for your time. Yes. Already I am recovered from losing my wife.

@PRUELPO You had a beautiful wife and good mother of your children. Thoughts you've shared are personal. I think, myLot community has the integrity to hold your personal stories you write here with discretion, care and respect. I spend more time writing on myLot than on my diary.

If you are comfortable and don't mind the rest of the world seeing your diary then it's ok.Most people here write about their personal and day to day experience. I'm sorry to hear about your wife.
