Our neighbor is so unfortunate. Her mom told me thru text her daughter is 3 months pregnant. She felt so disgusted. She wanted to abort the fetus. She's afraid her baby might be infected with the HIV. She's going to the doctor tomorrow if it is better to abort the fetus. I also don't have idea if the baby in her womb acquires HIV. She will know tomorrow. She and her husband already separated. She applied for annulment. She can't take back the cheater, and liar husband who ruined her life. Her husband is nowhere to find. I'll also ask the online doctors this evening about the possibility of the baby getting infected with the HIV. Thanks for reading sharing is caring. Image credit to Facebook gif

Let's hope that it isn't, but given that the mother is already sick, there is a very high likelihood that the baby will be as well. I disagree with her choice to get an abortion. In my opinion, the fact that the child was born there, despite the circumstances she is currently in, is not her fault. I wish her doctor will give her sound advice and follow it. She owns half of it, and life is a priceless gift from God. Only he has the power to take it away from you.

@cacay1 That us the only good thing that will happen in this situation. Give chance to that innocent life in her womb. If the doctor can assure her that the baby will be safe from the virus then it's worth the risk of giving that baby a chance to live.

Infected or not... I hope she will keep her baby. I know we have different values and cultures, but I think everyone should keep their babies and love them, whatever complications life may inflict, it is still God who is in control and powerful more than we can think of... He have always have the bright future for every babies just like us. I know it is not easy and it is painful, but God is merciful, but he don't tolerate things that he abhors.``

@luisadannointed, her mom doesn't like her to abort the baby. It's her one and only grand child. Hoping her doctor can give her the right decision. I'm so sure her doctor disallows her to abort the fetus.

It is a mixed feeling of happiness and loneliness. Being happy because she will be having a baby. And lonely because the baby might be infected with HIV too. Hope it will be a healthy and happy baby.

This is a really sad story. I can't think out a better solution for your neighbor. If she could know more about her husband before marriage, everything might be different. But the history can not go back by itself...

That's sad. I think the baby will be infected by the virus and HIV positive. She should abort the fetus. There is no reason to give birth to a child who is HIV positive.
