My bff from high school is a public school teacher now. To celebrate World Teacher’s Day, all public school teachers in my city gathered today in, guess what, in our old high school! She sent me pictures of our old classroom and I felt like crying. Lol High school was perfect for me because I met my bff. We were classmates from first year to fourth year so we basically spent our teenage years together. We could have been classmates in college but we wanted different universities.

That is a great statue. I sure sill know my high school friends and in fact I live above one of my best friends and we met way back in the 6th grade and then went through high school together

My friends from high school have scattered to the four winds and we've lost touch. There are a few acquaintances from high school that I am in contact with but that's it.

I know you loved seeing your old high school. I graduated in Hawaii and that's about six thousand miles away.

@sol_cee I lived in Hawaii for three years (military), but we do have a myLoter in Hawaii. @oahuwriter I think it is.

I passed high school in 1993 so it's been 30 years. I have the contact numbers of all my classmates and we chat on WhatsApp group but we never got a chance to meet with each other as most of us now live in different cities and are too much busy in our lives so have no time to meet.

I’ve been back to my high school many times. And I am still best friends with my two besties I met in high school. They both live far away now, but we talk all the time on the phone or through social media. And we try to get together in person at least once a year, if not more.

I am still in touch with my best friend from high school. Actually we knew each other since elementary school. We did go to our high school a few years ago to a supposedly high school reunion, but no one showed up. We think it was a fake post.

@sol_cee We left and my best friend was really mad. She told everyone it's a fake post. She refuses to go to another reunion now. I did get a t shirt from the high school band fundraisers though.

I haven't visited my school after.. But I pass by that school everytime I go to the city... I was not able to get my high school yearbook...
Friends? not sure... Hihihi I haven't seen them for a long time now. Some were still schoolmates in college. Others studied in that city... I don't know where they are now...

I visited St Joseph's college after graduating. I got a scholarship to study law in University of Warwick UK. So I took my transcripts to my Principal and he signed and sealed them which I had to produce in University of Warwick

My daughter went to the same high school. I went back several times. I showed her where my locker was and all of that. Also, when I was pregnant with her my friend was also pregnant at the same time. She and I had gone to junior high together. We went back there and visited with our favorite teacher. He laughed so hard and said that we always did do things together.

Your high school years must've been wonderful! I found many of my high school friends on Facebook . . . so we have connected there, but not much personally. I could actually visit my high school anytime - it's not far from here.

I never had buddies in high school as most of the students were military kids and the student turnover was frequent not giving me a chance to actually get to know anyone. I see my old HS whenever I happen to travel down that road but have no desire to visit within.

Oh, sorry about that.
Most of the military families I have met only stayed here for perhaps 3 years then they would move away so I usually any students I would get to know would be gone within 3 years and new kids would be in school with me. I never actually got to know anyone very well.
