Happy Wednesday Everyone! another rainy day here and that makes 3 days in a row that the sun is hiding. I don't mind a rainy day but now it's starting to feel dismal.
The rain makes my arthritis in my knees act up so today isn't a fun day. I'm hobbling around and wishing I could go back in time to the days when my knees were fine. It would be nice to even experience one day of youth once again.
Since that's not possible I'll just be thankful that I'm alive and well and happy to see another day.
Today is a day for the slow-cooker. I'm making meatballs in sauce so that will cook all afternoon and then when it's time for dinner all we have to do is cook up some spaghetti. I'm going to make enough that we have leftovers because Im a firm believer in cooking once and eating twice is the way to go.
Yesterday I managed to fill up the box I have for donations and in the next few days I'm hoping to be able to add to box #2. All my good intentions of purging got sidetracked over the summer and I didn't get as much done as I had wanted. I can honestly say I have too much stuff.
I'm going to finish my coffee and chat here for awhile until my daughter gets her lunch break.

@LadyDuck I'm sure it's a whole lot easier to look at the photos. I have boxes of photos that I should scan but it's just one of those things I don't think about. You know the old. out of sight out of mind thing.

I'm happy we're done with our three days of rain. It's bright and sunny outside today. There are still puddles in the driveway and the edges of the yard, though. It's also 51F here... That's still better than the 45F we had yesterday.
Your meatballs and sauce sound delicious! I like having leftovers I can freeze and eat the same meal again another day without putting in more work on it.

Pretty gripes if I forget to write on the baggies what is frozen inside them. 
I woke up for a pee break and am ready to go back to sleep now. I'd say that's a good day.

Today should be out last day of rain and tomorrow the sun will shine. We're just around 60 degrees right now and it looks like it going to stay that way for the rest of the week. I'm not ready for the cold freezing weather yet.
I love making a meal that can be eaten more than once and I'm definitely not picky to need to have something different every night. The biggest surprise is when i put something in the freezer, forget to mark what it is and then it's a surprise when it's defrosted

Funny how sometimes we have similar weather and other times opposite. Our weekend looks nice with decent temperatures but rain on Monday night which will literally put a damper on the trick or treating

@Marilynda1225 I have always taken great pride in my keyboarding/typing skills.
But as of late I make errors and am slow, and it is as a result of the pain.
But I feel that if it were in my feet or my legs it would be worse, so I try not to complain.

My knees are filled with arthritis from a few serious falls that I've had. Although I never broke anything my knees took the brunt and now all these years later they are acting up. Arthritis in your hands must be painful.

I swore I wouldn't accumulate stuff when I moved here and downsized from my last house. But as the years have gone by I guess those pesky gremlins are responsible for all the stuff that's here

I guess we all have the same issues with acquiring too much stuff as we get older. A day of being young and carefree would be fun but I wouldn't want to go back and relive my entire youth again.
I'm having a good week so far and once the sun comes out tomorrow I'm sure ill feel better

Yes I have prescription medication I take. Most days it helps but when the weather changes it only half helps.
