Sunny morning

The photo should show the sketch that my daughter drew of my house. She even included the Grandfather fir tree that is behind my house. This sketch makes me smile. My world has had another frosty night. Sunshine is pouring into the front porch. We've not figured how to get this first floor warm enough yet. Working on it. But for now my solution is to sit in the front porch and let the sun glare through the porch windows. Bring it on!

@sallypup Most people don't. But there's cold, and what's known as Florida cold. And, sometimes it's worse. If it gets to your bones.

@kaylachan Cold? It easily went to 8 below zero in the area we moved from last Spring. I think so far I am colder here than there cause its warmer though frosty but damper. I'm not used to damp cold anymore.

Maybe get a space heater? Since my furnace broke I've been using space heaters and they work just fine and the bill to operate them is a lot cheaper than the furnace was ..... my home is all electric so the energy costs in winter is higher than if I had gas heaters.

@rebelann Do you mean the little individual heaters? We have an oil filled heater in the living room. We're thinking about getting another for the dining room.

The sketch reminds me of Irish houses, many of which have a little glassed-in porch although not as big as yours. Your house looks very nice.

Your daughter is extremely talented!!! It's going to warm up into the 40s and even 50 this week. It will melt this awful white crap. Have a good day and an even better week.
