Lasagna Rolls or Whatever the Hell They Are

That is supper tonight this fine Saturday, December 3rd, 2022. Please all, fellow myLot members, have a puke bucket at the ready for none other than our very own @NJChicaa. She loves my food secretly, even if she would rather die than eat any of it. I cooked up lasagna noodles and browned some tube pork sausage. Set that all aside. Next up, take the lasagna noodle and slather it with a heaping helping of Ricotta cheese. Layer in some pork sausage, chopped onion, mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese and roll it up. Repeat until the casserole dish is full of lasagna rolls. Then take any excess and spread it out over the top. Spoon on some more Ricotta cheese and spread it over the rolls. Pour in some pasta sauce (okay, the horror, I used jar sauce), spread on some more mozzarella and Parmesan, cover with aluminum foil and bake for about an hour. Voila. Dinner is served. What went on your table this fine night?

Legit that is the first actual normal meal that I've ever seen you make. I don't eat sausage but if you substitute ground beef then I'd be all over it. I LIKE good food. You just don't make it often enough.

I thought there were a couple of others. Oh well. As for sausage, I rather like it. Gives it a little extra zing.

Man, before my salt restriction and back in the days when I had no money, Ramen noodles were the bomb dot com. I just loved them. Cheap, filling, and just what the doctor ordered. Man, those were the days.

They were fantastic and definitely something that will be done again. Already got another box of lasagna noodles to make them again sooner rather than later.

It is definitely a "something close to something." Just a little play on a recipe that turned out to be delicious.

I would eat that! Jar sauce and all! (I use jar sauce on my spaghetti and it hasn't killed me yet. ) I woke up at 4 pm and made a large pan of scrambled eggs with smoked turkey cut up into it and an onion diced in. It was delicious!

YUM YUM YUM! Jar sauce is fine most of the time. I had chicken nuggets and potato salad.

Something like this is generally what I use it for. My spaghetti never uses it. But everything else? It's quick and easy and does the trick.
