My CryptoTab Browser greeted Me with a Tutorial This Morning

While I use my computer, I let a mining-program run on one of my browser's tabs. That program earns me Bitcoin (BTC ... a cryptocurrency) in exchange for the miniscule amount of energy I use running it. That tab is of-course the 'default homepage' in my browser (the site that opens when I start my browser), and this morning--probably because I 'deleted my cookies' last night--it opened with a tutorial on that 'default homepage' (I think they call it my Mining Dashboard). I start the tour, and the first 'stop' is a memo pointing to 'my current BTC-amount' (the amount 'distributed' to me so-far, out of the fees BTC-users pay to keep their transactions "hidden in the Blockchain.") The memo says, "Here you can see your balance in BTC. It updates every 10 minutes." The next stop is a memo pointing to my "PC Mining"-speed. It says, "Here you can adjust your mining speed or turn it off." The next memo points to 'an indicator to show how many (if any) "Cloud.Boosts" I have on.' It says, "Activate Cloud.Boost to increase hashrate and earn more." (The mining-program sends calculated guesses to the Blockchain; the 'hashrate' is the number of those guesses I send every second (H/s).) The next memo points to my "Pool Mining"-indicator (showing if/how-much I'm using their "Pool Mining"). It says, "Activate Pool Mining to get up to an extra '20.000.000' (I think they mean '20,000,000') H/s of mining speed!" The next memo points to an indicator that shows if/how-much I'm using their "NFT Mining." It says, "Or skyrocket your hashrate with a special NFT." The next memo points to my invitation-link, saying, "Invite new users by sending them a link to get extra BTC income." (This is why 'people who hate cryptocurrency' call it "a Ponzi scheme"---because--even though I and my 'network of miners' ARE honestly providing energy in exchange for increased probability of currency-distribution--the amount I earn will be miniscule until I have a huge 'network of miners' who give me a percentage of their winnings (in exchange for inviting them).) The next memo--pointing to my current 'network'-count--says, "Here you can see the number of users in your mining network and invite new ones." The final memo--pointing to the 'menu-button' in the upper-right corner--says, "Logging in, BTC withdrawal, settings, and other functions are on the side panel."

Sounds like a lot of work. I was thinking of learning about cryptocurrency.

It's "a lot of work" the same way any business is---all that 'most employees' have to do is their little job (just like 'all each cryptominer has to do' is turn the program on, maybe adjust the hashing-speed, and invite other miners to help).
