We went to the big Tesco again.

Yesterday we went to the big Tesco again. I didn't wear gloves or boots because we would be mostly inside. We did all the usual things. I didn't think I was going to get a prawn layered salad but eventually I saw one thankfully. We got some Christmas crackers for us and some strange elf like Christmas crackers that are like triangular. Mum thinks they work like party poppers. Those are a Christmas present for Dave, Ali, Charlie and Noah. There's four in, so one each. Mum was looking for some Christmas wrapping paper, and we found some in rolls, but my Mum doesn't like them in rolls and she really wants to get them in sheets so we didn't get any. We got all the usual things. Mum got some more mince pies and a Christmas cake. I got my salmon for Christmas day, and it's infused with stuff like chilli, but it says mild heat so that should be OK. Sounds very tasty. My Mum told my step-dad to come at 4:15pm again! That was a mistake! My Mum wanted to get some nuts for Christmas but she was thinking more Christmasy nuts but all we could find was the normal every day nuts. Maybe we should have gone to the seasonal isle but I don't know if they'd have even been there. We're going down town Christmas shopping on Friday so hopefully we can get everything we need then, including Christmas wrapping paper and Christmas presents. I've got plenty of wrapping paper myself, and I don't mind it being on rolls. We payed and when I went to swap my book at the Tesco book swap it was already 4:30pm and it was 4:35pm before we got down on the lift. It was 4:40pm by the time we got in the car and were on our way home! We got home and I unpacked the groceries, had a rest and had my dinner. Later I put out some sea bass to thaw for tonight's dinner. I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

Yes, we have been very busy. We've still got a few things to get. Mum hasn't got any presents for my little Nephews or my step-dad yet! Last night I managed to wrap some presents for my little nephews and my brother and sister-in-law. I hope you're OK after the storms! Are there any more on the way? My Mum doesn't like storms. She used to sit on the stairs where there were no windows when a storm would come!

@sharonelton Where I live, so far just rain and gusts of wind, milder than other parts of Oahu. Some have lost electricity, gusts to 50mph or 80.4672Kilometers. I like our electric company locally, so frequently alerts comes. Storm should clear Oahu soon

@oahuwriter My gosh! I'm glad it was milder where you live! It's not nice when you lose electricity. I wouldn't like those wind speeds! I'm glad the storms should clear soon.

Salmon infused with chilli sounds nice I might have to try that. I made a spaghetti bolognese the other day and accidentally put more chilli powder than I'd planned. I like hot and spicy but that was a little too much even for me! Why doesn't your mum like rolls of wrapping paper? I often find the sheets aren't big enough, and they work out expensive. Saying that, I suppose it depends what needs wrapping. Your shopping experiences seem very long! I might have mentioned before that I'm not a fan of shopping. I do it if I have to, and definitely don't understand why some people go shopping on purpose for a day out!

Good morning and thank you very much. Yes, I'm really excited for my Christmas salmon. I know what you mean, I did that with my curry too! She says one reason is sheets are easy to store, apart from that I don't know why she doesn't like rolls. I mean, rolls have got more on them and I agree with you sheets might not be big enough and they work out more expensive. I've got 2 special wrapping paper holders that look like those leather guitar cases you get, except they're made of red fabric! I love shopping! But going shopping when my Mum's coming too is a bit of a drag because she's so slow. And she also takes ages choosing what she wants, or she ends up coming out without anything!

@sharonelton I did big Tesco and big Sainsbury’s today. Salmon for Christmas dinner sounds just lovely. We’re having lamb as usual and I do hope you enjoy the sea bass - my favourite fish.

Good morning and thank you very much. I hope you got what you wanted from Tesco and Sainsbury's. Yes, I'm really excited for my Christmas salmon dinner! Yes, and that reminds me, I must remember to get some more sea bass on Friday because this Thursday I'm having the last one that's in the freezer!
